DESCRIPTION:You are invited to a special meeting of the Silent Voice Canada/DDS membership on Zoom on this date: \nThursday\, March 5 at 6:00 p.m. \nPlease register to get the Zoom link. \nThe exciting reason for the special meeting is to approve the filing of Articles of Amendment to legally change the name of Silent Voice Canada to its new name (which will be officially launched in May and at Mayfest 2026). \nYou will be asked to vote on this motion: \nBE IT RESOLVED THAT:\nthe Articles of Amendment\, which will change the legal name of the Corporation\, be approved; and any two directors of the Corporation be and are hereby authorized and directed to sign the Articles of Amendment to signify the approval of the Members\, to instruct legal counsel for the Corporation to submit the Articles of Amendment to Corporations Canada for processing\, to file the processed Articles of Amendment within the corporate records of the Corporation\, and to provide the processed Articles of Amendment to the Canada Revenue Agency. \nCome and learn what name the community voted for! You will get a sneak peek into the new name at the meeting.
