DESCRIPTION:Silent Voice is pleased to once again be an official charity for the 2025 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon. We have raised tens of thousands of dollars for our programs and services through the years by being part of this wonderful event\, and we hope to raise significant dollars this year as well. But we can only do so with your support! \nYou can participate virtually ANYTIME throughout the month of October. \nIf you are unable to participate\, please choose to support a member of our Silent Voice team who will be running or walking to raise funds for Silent Voice. All funds raised go towards our vital programs\, services\, and direct support! \nRegister as a Participant \n\nGo to www.torontowaterfrontmarathon.com\nRegister (top right of the page)\nRegister Now (middle of page)\nCreate a new Race Roster account if it’s your first time\, or sign in if you have participated before.\nPick your event (5k in person\, or virtual or marathon etc)\nOnce registered\, a fundraising page is automatically created for the participant.\nPick Silent Voice Canada from the drop down and join our team. Our team is called Silent Voice 50 Years in the Deaf Community.\nEdit your fundraising page however you like. Once done\, an automatic URL will be created with your fundraising page that you can send to anyone you wish.\n\nMake a Donation \n\nGo to www.torontowaterfrontmarathon.com\nGo to “Community & Fundraising” (tabs on the top)\nGo to “List of Official Charities” (halfway down the page on the left).\nSelect an Organization (on left side of the page)\nSearch for Silent Voice Canada\, then “View Organization”.\nDonate to any team member. Our Team is called Silent Voice 50 Years in the Deaf Community\nOnce you donate\, an automatic confirmation will be emailed to you\, along with an official tax receipt.
